Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic faculty and provide the full spectrum of EP care in a collaborative environment.

The position includes outpatient EP clinics, inpatient consultations, ablations, device implantations, and collaboration with colleagues across heart failure and imaging, with a robust benefits package and opportunities for teaching and research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Leadership and strong communication skills for multidisciplinary care.
• Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy is desirable.
• Eligible for NY medical licensure and academic appointment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and NPs/PAs.
