Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty and to practice the full spectrum of EP in a collaborative environment.

The role includes leading outpatient EP clinics, inpatient EP consultations, ablation and device implantation, and collaboration across subspecialties while mentoring fellows, residents, and APPs. NY licensure eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Strong communication and collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and APPs.
