Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty and provide the full spectrum of EP care in a collaborative environment.

The candidate will perform outpatient EP clinics, inpatient electrophysiology consultations, ablation procedures and device implantations, and will mentor fellows and residents while collaborating with heart failure, interventional cardiology, and imaging teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Eligible for academic appointment and NY licensure.
• Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
