Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our growing academic faculty and provide the full spectrum of EP care in a collaborative environment.

The role includes outpatient EP clinics, inpatient consultations, ablations, and device implantations, with opportunities to collaborate across subspecialties and participate in education of trainees.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor
• Leadership qualities and collaboration in a multidisciplinary care setting
• Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
