Job summary

New Way Services is seeking a Program Coordinator in Chicopee, MA to oversee two residential homes serving ABI survivors. You will supervise Site Managers and Direct Support Specialists, collaborate with nursing and clinical staff, and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role includes a Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm schedule with a $55,000–$57,000 annual pay rate. The coordinator will support ISP development, staff onboarding, and performance management while promoting a positive program culture

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, adequate auto insurance.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with brain injury survivors or individuals requiring physical care preferred.
• Ability to lead a team, manage priorities, and adapt to participant needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; MAP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Managers and staff to ensure exceptional care delivery.
• Maintain staffing ratios, program schedules, and deadlines through supervision and training.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions with leadership.
• Remove barriers and solve operational issues to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate on ISP development and manage transitions from skilled nursing facilities.
• Maintain licensing and regulatory compliance through audits and staff education.
• Liaise with DDS Service Coordinators, vendors, state agencies, and families/guardians.
• Participate in on-call system with 100% communication coverage and weekly reports.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and safe team environment focused on participant needs.
