Tek One Solutions is hiring experienced Fiber Pulling Production Technicians for a high-volume data center installation in Abernathy, Texas.

The primary scope is fiber installation and pulling, not a dedicated fiber-splicing position. Technicians will work as part of a production team installing, routing, dressing, and labeling fiber throughout the data center.

Qualifications

• Previous fiber installation or fiber-pulling experience.
• Data center experience preferred.

Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Schedule: 12-Hour Day or Night Shifts
Day: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
Night: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Travel: 100% Required

Position Overview

Tek One Solutions is hiring experienced Fiber Pulling Production Technicians for a high-volume data center installation in Abernathy, Texas.

The primary scope is fiber installation and pulling. This is not a dedicated fiber-splicing position. Technicians will work as part of a production team installing, routing, dressing, and labeling fiber throughout the data center.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route fiber optic cabling
• Install fiber through ladder rack and designated data center pathways
• Follow assigned cable routes
• Properly handle fiber during installation
• Maintain appropriate bend radius
• Dress and organize installed fiber
• Label fiber according to project requirements
• Follow prints and cut sheets
• Work efficiently within assigned production work fronts
• Maintain clean and organized cable pathways
• Follow direction from Fiber Leads and project supervision
• Maintain safety and quality while working at production pace

Qualifications

• Previous fiber installation or fiber-pulling experience
• Data center experience preferred
• Experience routing fiber through ladder rack or similar pathways
• Understanding of basic fiber handling and bend radius
• Ability to follow prints, cut sheets, cable IDs, and route assignments
• High-count fiber experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable performing repetitive production installation work
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Strong attendance and reliability

The Fiber Production scope emphasizes pulling, routing and dressing through data center pathways/ladder rack, proper fiber handling, bend radius, labeling and the ability to follow assigned routes at production pace.

Travel & Expenses

This is a 100% travel position to Abernathy, TX.

• Authorized travel to Abernathy and return travel reimbursed
• Candidates must be able to remain in the Abernathy market for the full project duration
