Position Overview

Tek One Solutions is seeking technically experienced QA/QC Lead Technicians to support a high-volume data center infrastructure installation.

This is not an administrative-only QA/QC position. Candidates should have hands-on fiber, copper, structured cabling, or data center installation experience and understand what a properly completed installation should look like in the field.

Responsibilities

• Inspect completed fiber and copper installations
• Verify workmanship against project requirements
• Review cable IDs, labels, routing, and dressing
• Compare completed installations against drawings and cut sheets
• Identify installation defects and punch-list items
• Communicate required corrections to Lead Technicians and production crews
• Track outstanding quality issues through completion

• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation
• Balance production requirements with installation quality

Qualifications

• Hands-on fiber, copper, structured cabling, or data center experience
• Previous QA/QC, lead technician, foreman, or senior technician experience preferred
• Ability to read drawings, labels, cut sheets, and installation documentation
• Strong understanding of cable routing and dressing standards
• Ability to identify obvious installation defects
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• Comfortable interacting directly with installation crews and leadership
• Data center experience strongly preferred
• Dependable attendance required

The project specifically requires a technical QA/QC profile capable of validating cable IDs, labeling, test documentation, final quality and installation errors—not an administrative-only coordinator.

Travel & Expenses

100% travel to Abernathy, Texas is required.

Per diem and approved project-related expenses are reimbursed/provided under the approved travel package, and authorized travel to and from the project will be reimbursed.

QA/QC Leads may be required to travel to other project locations before the Abernathy mobilization for training or operational preparation.
