Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in New Jersey is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide life-changing ABA therapy to children ages 2-12. Join a responsive team with structured training, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment focused on positive outcomes for clients and families.

You’ll engage in 1:1 sessions, follow individual skill plans, and collect progress data while collaborating with a BCBA. Competitive benefits and a clear path toward becoming a BCBA are available.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry clients who are at least 30 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding the client’s progress (with guidance from the BCBA).
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire functional and technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Work towards becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), if not one already.
• Foster a positive working environment, maintaining good vibes!
