Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in Garner, NC seeks a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children ages 2-12. Implement plans, collect data, and report progress under BCBA supervision in a center setting.

No ABA experience required; we offer full pay while training and preparation for the RBT credential. Generous PTO, retirement match, and extensive health benefits support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the team and clients.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data, and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding the client’s progress.
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire functional and technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Follow the BACB guidelines.
• Work towards becoming an RBT, if not one already.
• Foster a positive working environment.
