Job summary

MeBe is a California-based provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism, offering paid training to pass the RBT exam and mentoring from supervisors. We seek empathetic individuals who thrive in group and 1:1 settings to deliver quality ABA-based care.

You will work with children at their homes or at MeBe’s Learning Center, following BCBA-designed plans and recording progress while ensuring safety and compassion. Join a mission-driven team focused on impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Availability: Monday through Friday, part-time shifts may be available.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• RBT/ CBT certification preferred; must obtain within 60 days with MeBe support.
• Background check clearance required.
• Background in child care or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting in home or MeBe Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Record behavior and progress in Central Reach after each session.
• Clock in/out and complete session notes per ABA and provider regulations.
• Maintain a safe, organized workplace.
• Assist with lunch, bathroom, and diaper routines.
• Support Site Director and Supervisors with tasks and treatment planning.
• Ask questions and raise concerns to supervisors.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
• Contribute to MeBe Family culture.
