Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in our clinic. You will implement plans from experienced clinicians, build strong family relationships, and stay current with ABA practices.

The role requires high school diploma (or equivalent) with potential for degree in Child Development/Psychology; RBT certification must be achievable within six weeks. Training is provided, and transportation to training and center is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (validated by resume or BACB attestation for RBT).
• Preferred enrollment or completion of a degree program; degrees in Child Development or Psychology are bonus.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (training provided).
• Must have reliable transportation to training location and center; punctuality essential.
• Experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
• Must meet physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, sit/stand, sit/kneel on the floor, etc.
• Computer and tablet literacy; ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic.
• Implement intervention plans crafted by Masters-level clinicians.
• Foster relationships with families and update progress within the ABA framework.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current on ABA therapy and RBT certification.
