Job summary

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Behavior Technician to implement ABA programs across multiple settings including centers, homes, schools, and telehealth. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CARD Behavior Technician Training with exam and field evaluation.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
• English proficiency required for verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment 1:1 or in groups under the Clinical Supervisor.
• Deliver ABA programs addressing skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Collect and record data with high fidelity on patient progress.
• Incorporate supervisor feedback into treatment sessions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional boundaries.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues.
