Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician in California to work one-on-one with clients and help them achieve developmental milestones.

You'll deliver ABA services under supervision, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs to apply positive behavior support techniques in diverse settings. Flexible part-time or full-time hours with afternoon/evening sessions to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities.
• Availability: At least 15 hours available during afternoons and evenings (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm).
• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance; travel time compensated.
• Requirements: Pass criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, and immunities proof.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under supervision.
• Collect data on goals throughout sessions as per treatment plan.
• Work in home, community, school, clinic, or other settings with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and complete clinical notes on time; collaborate with Supervisors/BCBAs.
