Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking an Audio/Visual Specialist (Level I-III) to install, maintain, and operate classroom and meeting space A/V systems. The role supports events, ensures equipment is provisioned and integrated with workstations and network cabling, and stays current with learning technologies.

Responsibilities include incident handling, software/firmware updates, and developing user guides, with a flexible schedule for after-hours college events.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate multi-media A/V equipment in learning/meeting spaces.
• Provide installation and support for workstations, networking equipment, cabling, and peripherals.
• Deliver live technical support for events and coordinate with facilities and IT.
• Update OS/app/firmware as required by policy.
• Develop basic operating guides for media equipment and maintain manuals/warranty files.
