Del Mar College's Information Technology department seeks a Computer Technology Specialist (Level I, II or III) to provide on-site support for faculty, staff and students, covering voice, data, and first-line desktop support.

The role involves installing and troubleshooting computers, peripherals, printers, and network devices, training part-time staff, and maintaining security and reliability across campus IT services. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or computer-related field.
• Experience with installation, testing, repair, maintenance of computers and peripherals.
• Able to provide desktop support to staff and students.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site desktop software, hardware, and peripheral support; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Perform telecom equipment troubleshooting and installation; generate reports.
• Travel to multiple DMC campuses to support IT services.
• Train and guide part-time technical assistants.
• Maintain hardware and software equipment and support wireless network.
• Engage with staff and department heads in meetings/workshops.
