Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking an A&E Regional Manager for New England and Upstate NY, with deep technical credibility in physical security. The role focuses on becoming the trusted advisor to architects, engineers and security consultants, ensuring Axis is specified in projects, and expanding the A&E program through outreach and training.

The position requires 10 years in physical security, with presales/consulting experience, plus strong networking and cybersecurity knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10 years in physical security with presales, integration or consulting experience.
• Proactive, self-driven business development or field sales track record.
• Solid understanding of IP-based security systems (video, access control, intercom).
• Strong grasp of networking, system design, and cybersecurity principles.
• Salesforce or CRM fluency and methodical territory management.
• Confident public speaker and relationship builder.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to architects, engineers, and security consultants.
• Drive specifications to have Axis included in project docs and specs.
• Lead in-person and virtual meetings across the territory to expand presence.
• Grow the Axis A&E program through targeted outreach, training, and networking.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales, Inside Sales, and A&E Program Manager.
• Promote Axis Site Designer, Revit plugins, and other design tools at events.
• Build and execute a regional plan; maintain CRM; report KPIs and momentum.
