Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking an A&E Regional Manager to cover New England and Upstate NY. You will serve as the Axis expert for architects, engineers, and security consultants, delivering credible discussions on networked physical security, cybersecurity, and system design.

Based in/around Boston, MA, you will drive specifications, build long-term relationships, conduct meetings, and expand the Axis A&E program through outreach and training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in physical security, ideally mix of presales, integration, or consulting.
• Proven track record in proactive business development or field sales.
• Solid understanding of IP-based security systems (video, access control, intercom).
• Strong networking, system design, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Ability to speak credibly to engineers and business decision-makers.
• CRM/ Salesforce fluency and territorial management.
• Confident public speaker and skilled relationship builder.

Responsibilities

• Be the Expert: advise architects, engineers, and security consultants on networked physical security and design.
• Drive Specifications: cultivate long-term relationships to have Axis in project specs.
• Lead with Presence: conduct high-quality meetings in-person and virtually across your territory.
• Grow the Program: expand Axis A&E program through outreach and training.
• Collaborate for Impact: align with Sales teams and A&E Program Manager on strategic initiatives.
• Leverage Axis Tools: demonstrate Axis Site Designer and Autodesk Revit plugins.
• Support Events & Trade Shows: represent Axis at conferences and regional summits.
• Own Your Region: build a regional business plan and report KPIs.
