Job summary

PhysicsX Ltd in New York is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer for Aerospace & Defense to lead high‑impact delivery and grow strategic engagements with senior engineering leaders. You will own commercial outcomes, customer relationships, and delivery results, while shaping go‑to‑market strategies and coordinating cross‑functional delivery teams across enterprise accounts.

You’ll travel 1–2 weeks per month, interact with executives, and translate customer needs into product feedback for

Qualifications

8+ years in Aerospace & Defense in commercial, program, or engineering roles.
Proven ability to lead executive conversations and close deals.
Deep understanding of aircraft development, defense acquisition, and manufacturing.
ML and data science depth to scope work with technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead business development conversations with engineering and manufacturing leaders.
Shape A&D go-to-market strategy with events, content, customer references, and capabilities.
Lead initial proposal and discovery conversations with senior engineering/manufacturing/program leaders.
Oversee proposal development and scoping with commercial stakeholders.
Manage delivery projects at enterprise customers: establishing and executing technical plans, overseeing teams, focusing on outcomes.
Own strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders and drive retention and footprint expansion.
Synthesize customer needs into actionable product feedback for the PX Platform.
Maintain a visible presence at major A&D industry events and travel 1–2 weeks per month.
