Job summary

PhysicsX in New York is seeking a Delivery Engineer to lead US delivery in a high-profile role blending business development with executive delivery responsibilities.

You will drive A&D opportunities, shape go-to-market, lead proposals, own customer outcomes, and guide cross-functional teams through complex programs from discovery to deployment. Travel 1–2 weeks per month; hybrid NY office and remote days.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Aerospace & Defense (commercial, product, program, or engineering roles).
• Proven ability to lead conversations with senior engineering and management, and to close deals.

Responsibilities

• Drive new A&D business development across the sector through your network and events.
• Shape our A&D go-to-market strategy with events, content, and customer references.
• Lead initial proposal and discovery conversations with senior leaders.
• Lead proposal development and scoping with commercial stakeholders.
• Manage delivery projects at enterprise customers, ensuring technical plans and team execution.
• Own strategic relationships and drive account plans for retention and footprint growth.
• Translate customer needs into product feedback for the PX Platform.
• Maintain visibility at major A&D industry events and travel 1–2 weeks per month.
