Job summary

Eventscape is seeking a proactive A&D sales representative based in New York to drive our sales efforts and build impactful client relationships within the architecture and design community. This role focuses on exploring opportunities, generating leads, presenting capabilities, and closing deals in the AEC sector.

This role has a base salary, plus a commission structure, and requires 3+ years of sales experience in architecture/design or custom fabrication.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in architecture/design or custom fabrication sales.
Familiarity with terminology used by architects, builders, designers, engineers and developers.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated sales and negotiation success in architectural sales.
Strong analytical skills for assessing proposals and opportunities.
Client-focused with effective networking abilities.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe PDFs.

Responsibilities

Generate new client revenue through proactive outreach, networking and lead pursuit.
Host presentations and lunch & learn events to showcase capabilities.
Represent Eventscape at trade shows and industry events.
Qualify projects quickly to allocate resources.
Create compelling project proposals to secure new clients.
Travel as needed to build relationships and deliver presentations.
Visit project sites during installations to ensure client satisfaction.
Work with internal teams to refine sales strategies.
Report on industry trends and identify opportunities.
Assist with takeoffs and bid submissions as needed.
