Job summary

OneWest Manufacturing Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a Sales Manager for Aerospace & Defense to lead commercial efforts, manage major accounts, and drive growth for forged and machined steel products on site. You will coordinate with engineering and operations to deliver proposals and contracts, guiding teams to successful project execution.

The role requires a strong A&D sales background, CRM proficiency, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Strong background in aerospace and defense sales, managing complex accounts and long sales cycles.
• Experience with forged steel products and their manufacturing process.
• Proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies, forecasting, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within aerospace and defense markets.
• Work with sales reps to manage key customer accounts and drive sales growth for forged/ machined products.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals; negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and operations groups to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Lead sales teams and forecast revenue; report on sales performance and market trends.
• Participate in industry events and support long-term account planning.
