Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• GCIC/NCIC certification obtainable.
• First-aid/CPR certification obtainable.
• EMD and Fire Dispatch certifications obtainable.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Able to operate radio communications and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and categorize emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Dispatch appropriate emergency personnel to incidents.
• Provide emergency medical instructions to callers when needed.
• Monitor two-way radio traffic and CAD data entry.
• Maintain security and integrity of records and GCIC files.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts and be available for on-call.
