Qualifications

• Ability to follow structured procedures and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller contact information.
• Identify nature and urgency of situations using approved questions.
• Enter details into call-processing or dispatch software accurately.
• Forward incident data promptly to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Provide instructions only within training and certification.
