Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and nonemergency calls with focused questioning.
• Confirm incident location and caller contact information accurately.
• Determine urgency using approved questions and document details in software.
• Forward information promptly to the dispatch function.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
• Maintain caller privacy and confidentiality of incident information.
• Work with teams on shift scheduling and coverage requirements.
• Adhere to agency rules, background checks, and assessments.
