Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency lines and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller callback details.
• Ask approved questions to identify urgency.
• Enter details into call-processing or dispatch software.
• Forward incident information to the proper dispatch function.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions within training and certification.
