Job summary

Flock Safety is seeking a detail-oriented professional to own the end-to-end 811 locate workflow from site surveys through ticket creation and agency coordination. You will ensure field readiness and maintain audit-ready records across multiple markets.

You'll investigate anomalies, escalate risks, and collaborate with Field Operations and deployment teams to keep excavation on schedule. This is a remote-ready role with hub opportunities in Atlanta/Boston, and equity may be available through

Qualifications

• Proficiency in navigating Salesforce, reporting dashboards, and operational workflow software to manage high-volume task queues.
• Strong investigative and analytical capability to interpret site surveys, identify discrepancies, and resolve locate anomalies.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to document exception histories, cross-functional handoffs, and operational updates.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing requests under strict timing guidelines and evolving state compliance standards.
• A methodical approach to record-keeping, tracking dependencies, and closing loops with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the end-to-end Call 811 ticket lifecycle in Salesforce and internal systems across assigned operating markets.
• Interpret site surveys to accurately create, update, and monitor locate tickets in compliance with state-specific regulations and timelines.
• Investigate locate anomalies, missing information, and agency delays, documenting evidence and executing clear risk escalation paths.
• Partner cross-functionally with Field Operations, scheduling, and deployment teams to provide status visibility and ensure field readiness before excavation begins.
• Utilize internal custom software and queue-management tools to prioritize high-volume locate requests and maintain complete audit records.
• Identify and implement practical process improvements or workflow automations to reduce manual rework while protecting compliance and quality.
