Conterra Networks in Louisiana seeks an 811 Specialist to help coordinate fiber location data and 811 ticket workflows. You will work with our engineers and contractors to screen tickets and communicate fiber locations to support safe excavation.

Experience with GIS or Power BI is a plus; strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. The role is on-site at our Louisiana offices, offering a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and reading comprehension required.
Ability to follow geographical and driving directions.
GIS programming background is a plus.
Customer service and professional demeanor required.

Strong problem solving and map skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and screen 811 tickets using proprietary software.
Manage 811 Fiber Protection email notifications and communicate the location of Conterra’s fiber in relation to excavation and contractor work areas.
Respond to requests for location information, reassign ticket requests, and inquire about projects with tickets.
