Challenge Manufacturing seeks a dependable press operator to monitor up to a 1,000-ton stamping press. You will verify quality, reference JES in Plex, and load coils to produce compliant stampings. The role requires reading and following instructions, working safely, and maintaining clean work areas.

The position is on-site at our Kansas City, MO plant, operating on a 5 AM–5 PM shift, Friday through Tuesday. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production requirements.
• Reference production orders in Plex to stamp product per JES.
• Load correct coils in stamping press to ensure quality stamping.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area.
• Complete operator inspection sheets and quality checks.
• Cross-train on additional work centers as needed.
