Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a stamping press operator to set up, run, and monitor up to 2,000-ton transfer presses, producing quality stampings per JES and quality standards.

The role involves reading JES sheets, selecting proper steel coils, and performing frequent quality checks while recording data in Plex. You will lift up to 40 pounds, work in a team, and support production goals daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year stamping press experience preferred.
• Ability to read job element sheets and use gages.
• Capable of operating within a team and following QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust stamping press per die-set sheets and JES.
• Stamp product per JES and maintain quality standards.
• Record inspection data in Plex ERP system and ensure traceability.
• Load/unload and maneuver parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and assist with cross-training.
• Meet daily production requirements and follow Packaging and labeling requirements.
