Job summary

The Grosse Pointe Public School System in Pierce Middle School is seeking a 5th Grade Camp Coordinator to organize parent packets, meetings, field trip forms, and camp logistics. This position focuses on coordinating information flow and supporting the 5th grade team during the camp period.

You will work with school offices to manage lists of chaperones, bus and cabin lists, and respond to parent inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Organize parent information packets and transportation logistics.
• Create and attend Parent Information Meetings; assist with presentations and facilitation.
• Complete and organize Field Trip permission forms and collect responses.
• Create and manage bus lists and cabin lists with the 5th grade team.
• Organize list of interested chaperones and coordinate lottery to select final chaperones.
• Respond to parent questions via email and phone; collaborate with office staff.
