Grosse Pointe Public Schools System is seeking a 5th Grade Camp Coordinator for Pierce Middle School. The role supports the summer program by coordinating parental communications, organizing packets, and ensuring smooth logistics with staff and students.

You will work with the 5th grade team to manage field trips, chaperones, and supplies, while serving as the parent information point person. A collaborative partner to admins and families is essential.

Responsibilities

• Organize Parent Information Packets
• Coordinate BTSN and related meetings; prepare presentations
• Complete and organize Field Trip Permission Forms
• Create and manage Bus Lists
• Facilitate creation of Cabin Lists with 5th grade team members
• Organize list of interested chaperones and coordinate lottery
• Respond to parent questions via email or phone
• Work with office to order camp snacks and water
• Office will collect and organize medications
