North Carolina A&T State University Cooperative Extension seeks an Extension Agent - 4H (Guilford County) to design, implement and assess engaging 4-H educational programs for urban youth ages 5–19. The role emphasizes leadership and workforce skills with a strong STEM element.

The agent collaborates with partners, conducts needs assessments and delivers activities across clubs, after‑school programs, camps and school enrichment, while reporting outcomes for program improvement.

Formación

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s with appropriate GPA and related work/extension experience.
• Experience in extension or teaching in diverse communities is preferred.
• Experience planning programs and working in diverse communities.
• Experience working effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time and resources.
• Experience and knowledge in mass media, marketing and presentations.
• Skills in leadership, budgeting and public relations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, execute and evaluate comprehensive 4-H educational programs for urban limited-resource youth (ages 5–19).
• Collaborate with county and community partners to deliver programs and recruit participants.
• Assess community needs, organize materials, and deliver in clubs, after-school programs, camps and school enrichment activities.
• Evaluate data from advisory committees, residents and participants to measure impact.
