Saab in West Lafayette, IN is hiring 3rd shift Structural Assemblers to build the aft fuselage for the T-7A Red Hawk training aircraft. These roles include assembling aircraft structure, training new workers, and contributing to a state-of-the-art production system.

Start date anticipated early December 2026. You will follow standardized procedures, read engineering drawings, operate hand and power tools, and support safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of relevant assembly experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select and safely use hand and power tools.
• Follow standardized procedures and maintain quality.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble aircraft structures and install systems per procedures.
• Train new team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform functional tests of assemblies and systems.
• Handle Class A surfaces and touch-up paint as needed.
• Sign off completed work according to specifications.
• Support training and knowledge transfer to new employees.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment aligned with company values.
• Other tasks as assigned.
