Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a cold-chamber die casting facility in Cedarburg, WI. The role focuses on monitoring high-pressure aluminum casting processes, optimizing parameters, and reducing defects to maximize yield.

Qualifications

• Stability: at least 2+ years at each previous employer.
• 2+ years of hands-on process control experience in manufacturing (aluminum die casting, plastics, or metalworking).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret monitoring data and quality reports.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• HS diploma/GED required; technical education preferred; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical process parameters including melt temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, and cycle times.
• Analyze and resolve casting defects (porosity, cold shuts, soldering, etc.).
• Optimize machine parameters for new product launches and existing runs.
• Maintain standardized process setup sheets and operating instructions.
• Execute production trials with quality/engineering teams to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Support quality and inspection by reviewing X-ray data and real-time monitoring systems.
• Train operators and setup techs on standardized processes.
