Modern Machining Solutions Inc is hiring a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician – Cold-Chamber Die Casting in Cedarburg, WI. The role offers up to $41.00/hr ($85,280/yr) with 401(k) match, bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, and attendance-based PTO.

Direct-hire with a stable night-shift schedule in a high-volume precision environment. You will monitor high-pressure aluminum die casting processes, analyze defects, optimize machine parameters, and ensure compliance with tier-one

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• 2+ years in process control within manufacturing (aluminum die casting, plastic injection molding, or metalworking preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to interpret process data and quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize process parameters (melt temps, shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, cycle times, lubrication).
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects (porosity, cold shuts, soldering).
• Review X-ray data and maximize first-pass yield.
• Set up, tune, and validate die casting process parameters for new product launches and production runs.
• Maintain process setup sheets and operating instructions.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering on production trials to reduce scrap.
• Train machine operators and setup technicians on standard parameters.
