Job summary

The Connection in Uncasville, CT is seeking a Residential Aide to support justice-involved clients as they re-enter the community. You will provide structure and supervision under the Department of Correction or Court Support Services, using a strengths-based, client-centered approach to promote positive change.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent, or an Associate's Degree.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with individuals in recovery or justice involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide structure and supervision to justice-involved clients re-entering the community.
• Use strengths-based, client-centered approach to promote positive change.
• Collaborate with Adult Services and Community Justice staff to rehabilitate and educate clients.
