Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. is seeking a Full-time 3rd Shift Residential Re-Entry Specialist for the Drapelick Center in Bloomfield, CT.

You will support clients on parole by conducting urinalyses, supervising movements, and performing comprehensive intake and orientation procedures. Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma with 4 years in social services or criminal justice, pass FBOP background checks, complete required FBOP training, and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in social services or criminal justice.
• Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
• Attend 40hrs of FBOP required training prior to working FBOP clients.
• Strong attention to details; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Report for shift 15 minutes early and conduct urinalysis and client issue updates.
• Perform security tasks: verify items exchanged between shifts and secure facility keys.
• Conduct searches (areas, rooms, perimeters) and document results.
• Supervise visits, escort and logall visitors; complete intake for new arrivals.
• Provide transportation for clients in company vehicle and support emergency drills.
