Job summary

Leidos in San Antonio, TX seeks an Operations Shift Lead for the 3rd shift (9 PM–5 AM) on-site to support the CESO program. You will lead the shift, monitor networks and systems, triage incidents, and coordinate with cyber, network, and vendor teams to maintain critical services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience, active TS/SCI clearance (DoD 8750 IAT II), and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, plus strong ITIL, incident coordination, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in Windows or Linux server environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; DoD 8750 IAT level II certification (e.g., Security+ce).
• Willing to work 24x7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience leading an operations team or senior escalation point.
• Strong communication and incident coordination skills.
• Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Splunk.
• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change Management.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, switching; Windows/Linux, cloud environments.
• Hands-on IT Cybersecurity, Network Operations, or Windows Server admin.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operations tasks during assigned shifts.
• Oversee monitoring of network, servers, applications, and infrastructure.
• Own incident triage, escalation, and resolution through closure.
• Coordinate with network, systems, security, application, and vendor teams.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, escalation procedures, and runbooks.
• Review alerts for trends and potential improvements.
• Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate operational docs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance during complex incidents.
• Prepare incident reports, shift summaries, and operational metrics.
• Participate in major incident management and post-incident reviews.
