Job summary

Leidos in San Antonio, TX seeks a Network Administrator for the 3rd shift (9 PM–5 AM) to join the CESO effort building a secure, automated web service operation. The role focuses on maintaining network availability, monitoring performance, and protecting critical infrastructure in a fast-paced government environment.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, a BS in CS or IT or equivalent, and be comfortable with 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain CI poly if required.
• DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• BS in computer science or IT and 2+ years of experience.
• Additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Willingness to work 24×7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring switches and routers.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Ability to configure 802.1x.
• Experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels and VLAN configurations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network connections and performance to ensure network availability.
• Identify risks and mitigate issues in the network.
• Plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security.
• Receive and review user requests to resolve access issues.
• Troubleshoot network problems and escalate to senior engineers or vendors.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
