Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Materials Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead material flow, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will ensure materials are available for production, maintain accurate inventory, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will partner with cross-functional teams on launches and plant readiness, support 5S initiatives, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering on delivery promises.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials, inventory, logistics, or production control in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, Kanban, Min/Max, or other material management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping, receiving, and material handling to support safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
• Monitor Min/Max, Kanban, and MRP to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess or obsolete materials.
• Coordinate receiving, returns, tooling shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, purchasing, tooling, and production teams.
• Support new product launches with planning, layouts, and system implementation.
• Drive improvements in material flow, 5S, and overall efficiency.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement practical solutions.
