Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities in a food manufacturing setting. You will supervise technicians, manage shift resources, and drive reliability improvements across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years in leadership, plus SAP knowledge and a strong focus on safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, incl. 2+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical systems, and related equipment.
• Working knowledge of SAP, safety, EPA regulations, USDA standards.
• Must have prior supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Improves organization and efficiency of workspaces (5S, tools, safety).
• Supervises daily maintenance work and allocates resources per shift needs.
• Leads site DMS meetings and reports maintenance metrics.
• Tracks weekly maintenance KPIs and backlog; monitors mean time to repair.
• Troubleshoots and resolves breakdowns with cross‑functional teams; drives root cause analysis.
• Contributes to maintenance strategy improvements using data and trends.
