Job summary
CJ Schwan’s in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee shop floor maintenance, safety improvements, and reliability initiatives. You will lead day-to-day maintenance activities, coordinate with the Maintenance Planner, and drive KPIs like PM completion and mean time to repair.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years maintenance experience and 2+ years leadership, strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, and experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs; base salary
Qualifications
- 5+ years in maintenance, with 2+ years in leadership.
- Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with SAP and safety/USDA sanitation standards.
- Experience with PLC systems, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley.
- Supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Improve workspace organization and safety via 5S and tools.
- Supervise daily maintenance tasks with planner; allocate resources by shift.
- Lead site DMS meetings and report maintenance metrics.
- Track weekly KPIs: PM, backlog, aging, MTTR, breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and drive reliability with cross-functional teams; root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to maintenance strategy improvements using data.
