Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for the night shift at our Sioux Falls, SD facility. You will lead a maintenance team, guide all reactive and preventive maintenance activities, and drive reliability improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical systems, and SAP/CMMS.
• Experience with safety regulations and USDA sanitation standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a high-performing maintenance team on night shift.
• Oversees reactive, corrective, planned and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to prioritize work.
• Tracks maintenance KPIs and reports weekly on PM/Corrective work, backlog, and breakdowns.
• Drives root-cause analysis for reliability improvements; implements breakdown elimination.
• Contributes to strategy improvement using team input, defect trends, and equipment condition data.
