Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials in Wisconsin is seeking a machine operator responsible for independently setting up, operating, and troubleshooting multiple metalworking machines on a fast-paced line. You will handle Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, and other equipment, ensuring smooth start-ups and adherence to safety protocols.

Daily tasks include following work orders, performing quality checks on lengths, widths, and weights, assisting with packaging, and keeping work areas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months of experience.
• Able to operate sit-down forklift; CCM forklift certification required.
• Safe work practices and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, thread the material through, and operate independently one machine (Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, Cut-to-Length, Roll Forming/Seaming, Press Lock, Welder/Paint Booth).
• Follow daily manufacturing work orders with attention to materials and notations.
• Assist with operation of other machinery under supervision.
• Assist with packaging at end of line; band and palletize metal coils/sheets and label finished product.
• Perform quality checks for proper lengths, widths, and weights using proper tools.
• Maintain safety with lockout/tagout and daily equipment inspection; keep work area orderly.
• Learn and operate new equipment.
• May require overtime/weekend hours.
