Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a details-oriented machine operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot various metalworking equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and adherence to production schedules.

Responsibilities include operating one or more specified machines, packaging, and assisting with other line duties. Basic math, measurement, and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to safely operate a sit-down forklift—training will be provided; CCM’s forklift certification is required for all production employees.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and great attention to detail.
• Ability to follow CCM’s policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, thread the material through, and operate independently one machine (Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, Cut-to-Length, Roll Forming/Seaming, Press Lock, Welder/Paint Booth).
• Follow daily manufacturing work orders with attention to materials and notations.
• Assist with operation of other machinery under close supervision.
• Assist with packaging at end of line and as needed.
• Band and palletize metal coils/sheets; label finished product.
• Perform quality checks for lengths, widths, and weights using proper tools.
• Maintain safety compliance and production goals.
