Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Westfield, NY client. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read schematics. Overnight shifts and some weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work overnight hours and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
