Job summary
Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright for a 3rd shift position at a Western New York food manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to keep production running in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, can read schematics, and is skilled in welding, fabrication, and 480V electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance or as a millwright.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase systems.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment including power transmission systems.
- Diagnose electrical/control issues on production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Operate shop equipment: lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, grinders.
- Weld using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Create and close work orders in the CMMS.
- Support plant safety and GMP compliance.
