Job summary

Oatey Company in Parma, OH, seeks a Production Maintenance Technician to support and sustain production equipment and drive improvements across lines.

You will be responsible for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations. A safety‑minded, team-oriented professional with at least two years of experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years production maintenance experience.
• HazMat 24-hour refresher course completed and maintained as required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; able to trouble shoot PLC and DC/AC circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems with minimal supervision.
• Works in a team environment and assists in problem-solving for production issues.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner per standards.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, and compressors.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing goals including 6S and safety practices.
