Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a maintenance technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot automation systems in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include programming PLCs, debugging HMI interfaces, and ensuring safe operation of 480V 3-phase equipment.

You will work with photo eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches, and motor drives, performing preventive maintenance on conveyors and laser-guided equipment. Strong safety practices and PLC/Servo experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment in manufacturing is preferred.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout and safety procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and associated control wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting for analog and digital controls on 480V 3-phase systems, motors, and drives.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells; program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
• Modify PLC logic using ladder logic; diagnose and implement HMI/graphic interfaces.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet) and electrical schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.
