Job summary

Tyson Foods in Rogers, AR is seeking candidates for a 3rd shift position with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturdays. Pay starts at $16.70 per hour, plus a daily incentive of $40–$80 for Debone and Hand Cutter roles.

Training is provided with up to 8 weeks of one-on-one onboarding to prepare you for the job. Responsibilities include following safety rules, lifting up to 40+ pounds, standing 8–10 hours per day, and wearing PPE.

• Able to push, pull, carry, and lift 40+ pounds.
• Willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours daily.
• Must wear PPE, ear protection, hair net and beard guard.
• Able to climb stairs/steps as needed.
• Background checks may be required.
• Relocation assistance not offered.

Job description

Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturdays. Hours: 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM - times vary per line you work.

Pay - $16.70 hour --- *Tyson of Rogers offer a based incentive on individual performance that range from $40 to $80 a day on top of hour wage for Debone and Hand Cutters only. We offer one on one job training up to 8 weeks*

This position is responsible for but not limited to:

• Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
• Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level
• Must be able to perform the duties of the position
• Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day
• Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
• Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed

Requirements:

• There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
• Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
